About
In the later stages of typographic history, type specimens were often showing display faces, many of which were cut in wood. These showcased a more democratized genre, less rigid than the precisely engineered, industrially produced metal type. As a result, these designs carried distinctive quirks, expressive details, and even bold, “brutal” treatments. RL Reklama inherits this spirit, celebrating craftsmanship, labuor, and the enduring ethos of hard work.

The family is inspired by the historical development of letterforms designed for large sizes. While its DNA is rooted in the simplicity of a sans serif, the typeface builds its character through playful proportions and rounded treatments of sharp corners. RL Reklama does not aim to be the narrowest typeface; instead, it achieves a compact appearance by utilising open counters with varying cut angles on the terminals.

With a weight range spanning from Regular to Black, RL Reklama is perfectly suited for settings where big, attention-grabbing headlines are in demand. With its space-saving capabilities, the typeface, counterintuitively, complements economy with personality.
